Rare and wonderful fine jewellery. Amazing handcrafted vintage solid sterling silver and multi-gemstone statement necklace featuring five gorgeous raised bezel-set natural polished purple amethyst stones in various hues and three different sizes including huge central reverse teardrop, four round faceted London blue topaz (or possibly glass) stones, connected chain and hook closure. This is quite a heavyweight piece, due mostly to the stones. Chain width: 0.3 cm. Central Amethyst: 3.0 x 2.0 cm. Size 2 Amethyst: 1.9 x 1.7 cm each. Size 3 Amethyst: 1.4 x 1.1 cm each. Blue Topaz: 0.7 x 0.7 cm each. Approximate era for this beautiful piece is 1990's, it is in very good vintage condition with small flaw to the second (right of centre) amethyst-minor knock/chip to side- otherwise all amethysts are smooth with natural lines within, no flaws to blue topaz. I have cleaned the necklace gently with a silver cloth and water. Presented in organic cotton gift bag and packed in small box for protection.
