Vintage Navajo Bracelet Kirk Smith Turquoise Cluster Sterling Silver. Stamped "Kirk Smith" in script and "Sterling". Wide 5 1/4 end to end plus 1 non-adjustable opening. No damage to turquoise or silver. This beautiful vintage Native American handmade turquoise and Sterling silver bracelet created by Navajo, Dine', artist Kirk Smith. Smith hand cut, shaped and polished 42 matched round snake-eye, two smaller. 50, and one larger (1 X 1.25) rectangular turquoise stones. These are arranged into three flower head clusters decorating a shank formed from five thick triangular wires soldered together at the terminals.
KIRK SMITH Navajo / Dine; 1957 2012. One of the most skilled practitioners of the Classic Navajo Revivalist style. He was taught by his brother-in-law, Harry Morgan. Many of my bracelets have been on display in my home only.
