Vintage Navajo Belt Buckle - Signed by Juan T. This striking handcrafted belt buckle is a rare piece of Native American silversmithing with exceptional details. Hallmark: Authentic "JTS" on the back. Material: Heavy gauge, unmarked but appears to be sterling silver (weight: 79g). Stone Inlay: Features unbacked turquoise inlay, believed to be authentic Bisbee material (visible from the reverse side in pictures) experts suggest these are authentic Bisbee turquoise stones because there is no backing on the reverse for stabilization lower-grade turquoise stones (including stabilized Bisbee) require backing for structural purposes.

The absence of backing here suggests high-quality, natural material. Size: 3.5 inches wide x 2 inches tall. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with age-appropriate patina and beautifully executed hand-forged details.
