Vintage Deco Pools of Light Rock Crystal Quartz Orb Sterling Necklace

These were unused and in storage for many years. The rock crystals are antique sterling silver quartz wrapped and undrilled captivating glass orbs.

They are held in elegant silver cages. As light passes through each orb, it's focused behind it and creates a cascade of light. During the Victorian period, these were known as'pools of light' orbs. If you hold a true pools of light quartz above printed letters they will display them upside down and backwards, which these do.

We put three orbs on an old cable chain to create this stunning piece. The necklace is 18 inches long. The orbs measure 15mm and will glow like crazy on your neck.

This is a stunning vintage necklace with rare rock crystal orbs, so special. The ancients believed that drilling a whole through a perfect sphere of crystal destroyed it's magical properties, allowing evil spirits to enter the stone. Quartz has long been thought to have a spiritual connection, the myth of the crystal ball goes back centuries and more.

Thus pools of light jewelry was born. These will be little balls of glowing beauty hanging from your ears. True rock crystal will show print backwards adding to the rarity and mystic.
