Vintage Crawford WW2 Era Military Style Sterling Silver Mens Watch 7J 1940s

  
This is a vintage wristwatch dating to about 1943. This is beautiful, clean, and in very good condition. The dial is original and has not been refinished. The movement has just been fully serviced. The watch was professionally cleaned and it is ready to wear.

It has not been polished and it retains a wonderful patina that collectors will love. The watch runs well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The case is solid sterling silver and it is about 31mm wide not including the crown.

It is about 38mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a better quality Crawford Swiss made hand winder and it has 7 jewels. The band is a new old stock 1940s leather strap. The total length of the watch is about 8 3/4 inches.

This uses a 16mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please see my other listings...
