RARE VINTAGE 1940'S WW2 ERA ROLEX TUDOR OYSTER STERLING SILVER 3478, RUNNING! FROM A LOCAL ESTATE, HERE IN CLEVELAND. 1940's FACTORY ORIGINAL "CENTREGRAPH" MODEL MENS' STERLING SILVER ROLEX TUDOR REF 3478 WATCH! VERY RARE & DESIRABLE STERLING SILVER MODEL!

THIS MODEL IS A CLASSIC OYSTER DESIGN - THE SIMPLICITY OF ITS YEARS' OLD DESIGN STILL MAKES IT A CLASSIC TODAY! A GREAT CASE ON THIS ONE, COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL SIGNED MATCHING SILVER CROWN, AND. HIGH GRADE, TUDOR CALIBRE FACTORY ADJUSTED MANUAL WIND MOVEMENT - SIGNED, BRUSHED FINISH CASE. CASE IS ALSO HALLMARED FOR "STER", INDICATING.

SIGNED 4X CASE, DIAL, MOVEMENT, CROWN! FULLY SERVICED ON 10/28/2021 AND RUNNING STRONGLY AND KEEPING TIME WHEN WOUND. A NICELY SIZED PIECE, APPROX 37MM OVERALL LENGTH X 30MM DIAMETER! Tonight, I offer a NICE 3478 Solid Sterling Silver Tu. This beaut is housed in a CLEAN, Attractive BRUSHED case that evidences wear but is what I would consider to be overall EXCELLENT condition.

The ARCHED lugs are SHARP, and in GREAT SHAPE. The back has no major slips and is clean! The crystal has just been replaced and is spotless.

The Original hands retain all of their original aged lume material. The Original, Silver, Signed Factory crown is intact and in good condition and screws down properly Case has not been polished and has been left exactly as I found it (aside from ultrasonically cleaning for hygienic safety).

The Factory Adjusted Manual Wind Movement is one of Tudor's highest grade at the time. It was cleaned, oiled and adjusted on 10/28/2021 and is running strongly. Winding and setting operate properly. Dial is completely original and extremely clean. This timepiece appears to be 100% factory original!

All polished steel work is in Excellent condition and the plates are fantastic for this age of watch. Comes with a new high quality leather band - looks good on the head!
