Lovely Antique Victorian Gold Silver Diamond Floral Starburst Pendant Necklace

  

A beautiful glittering antique Victorian 10K rose gold, 10K yellow gold and sterling silver graduating old mine and rose cut diamond floral starburst pendant necklace. This fabulous Victorian floral starburst pendant has a solid 10K rose gold open backed base topped with sterling silver and a solid 10K rose and yellow gold bail supporting system on the reverse.

The wonderful five pointed starburst pendant is convex shaped in three layers which brings beautiful depth to the pendant with a very pretty floral center to the star and the entire pendant covered with 51 sparkling old mine and rose cut natural diamonds all cut by hand in the traditional Victorian way, the center old mine cut diamond raised in an open prong setting with 10 old rose and mine cut diamonds surrounding it in a floral fan shape petal formation, the remaining 40 old rose cut diamonds graduating down the star points. The pendant has a fine sterling silver chain with a ring clasp. The pendant is unmarked and tests for 10K rose gold, 10K yellow gold and sterling silver, the chain is unmarked and tests for sterling silver. The pendant measures approximately 1 1/2 inches across. The chain is about 17 1/4 inches long.

The pendant rises about 11mm off the chest. The diamonds measure from about 3.5mm long for the central diamond down to about 1mm long at the tip of the star points and weigh approximately 1 carat. The necklace has a total weight of approximately 10.0 grams. The pendant is in excellent condition with light general wear. All the diamonds are present, the chain is in excellent condition, the clasp works well.
