Its in excellent vintage condition with its original patina and all original stones. Truly a museum quality piece, sure to be seen and make a statement.
The base of the cuff is made from a triple shank with hand stampings on the outer shanks near the gap. Slightly rounded on the outside and flattened for comfort on the inside, the triple shank is very sturdy and doesnt have much give. Its a very well made solid piece.
The center display is the showcase of this bracelet. A thick bed of silver, long and oval in shape, features a huge Carico Lake stone set in a tall straight edge bezel. The eye catching stone portrays beautiful color of blues and blue/greens with reddish brown matrixes and very faint spiderwebbing.
Silver twisted rope surrounds the large stone as well as a row of snake eye stones. Also set in tall straight bezels and surrounded with twisted rope, the snake eye stones are all in excellent condition. Some are solid in color while others have slight matrixes.
The center display is finished with large sunburst stamped droplets resting between each outer stone. The wing sections are made with long slabs of silver that slightly curve inward. Taking on the same design as above, snake eye stones line each wing section along with sunburst stamped silver droplets. This gorgeous Zuni made piece will make a great addition to your existing Native American collection or it could be the the perfect piece to start one. This isnt just a piece of jewelry, its a tangible asset and authentic piece of Native American history.
