Stunning Edwardian sterling silver gilt, emerald (0.40ct) , paste and seed pearl ring with a beautifully etched back and shank. The Edwardian era or Edwardian period of British history covers the brief reign of King Edward VII, 1901 to 1910, and is sometimes extended in both directions to capture long-term trends from thedeath of Queen Victoria in January 1901 marked the end of the Victorian era.

The gilt has faded in places but this only adds to the charm and individuality of this gorgeously vibrant piece. Ll the outer green paste stones and seed pearls are intact and in good condition but the central faceted real emerald has a tiny nibble to one edge which can be seen on the close up photo.
