A+ VINTAGE ZUNI STERLING SILVER TURQUOISE COBBLESTONE INLAY MEN'S RING size 9

  
This excellent vintage sterling silver and turquoise cobblestone inlay ring was hand made by a very talented Native American artist, probably Zuni, but could be Navajo. This is a very well made ring! It is a thick, solid ring made of a cast sterling silver ingot. The convex surface is inlaid with 9 individual turquoise gemstones probably from the Sleeping Beauty mine. The colors are shades of sky blue and soft aqua blue. The stones are uniform in size, secure, with no damage at all. This type of raised inlay work is referred to as cobblestone inlay.

There are stamped silver buttons across each end, as well as on the sides of the band. The band is sturdy and thick, split into 4 very equal shanks.

The precision and attention to detail on this ring is very impressive. It is unsigned, which is typical for these older Native American pieces. Finger size: 9 fits a bit smaller due to the wide band. Probably about right for 8.5 finger.

Excellent pre-owned condition - Just slight surface wear and minimal tarnish. The convex shape and wide band make it very comfortable on the hand. Approximate measurements: North to south: 1 1/8" Width at widest part: 3/4" Weight - a thick and sturdy 17 grams! Initials/hallmarks: none, tested as sterling silver.
