This listing is for a vintage large, chunky. Stamped sterling silver turquoise concho belt NECKLACE. I have 2 other native american concho belts / necklaces starting today at. At some point in the belt's history it was converted to a necklace (not at all uncommon) - there are no marks on the belt but it does test sterling. The "buckle" end with the turquoise cabochon still has the hook on the back and the triangular piece from the other end was removed and placed 2 links up from the hook end to serve as a closure - please see photos #4, 5, 9 & 12 - I however, personally, would rather hook the necklace as you see in photos 1, 2 & 6 with the hook end attached to one of the existing rings and I would just remove the triangular closure piece. I hope this all makes sense - please ask any questions prior to purchasing! The belt / necklace is approx 26.5 long from end to end. It is quite heavy weighing approx 110 grams. The necklace/belt is in good vintage condition but it is not new and may exhibit the slight scuffs and superficial marks you would expect to find in a previously handled or lightly worn piece of hand-wrought sterling jewelry. PLEASE NOTE that the concho belt has been shortened and converted into a necklace. Please see all 12 photos - including #3, 11 & 12 t aken with a penny and/or on a 1 ruler grid for relative size purposes.

It also magnifies any small scratches/scuff marks to many, many, many times their actual size - Also, please note that often the shiny surfaces of jewelry act as mirrors and reflect other nearby items and are not flaws. Also, any boxes / coins used for photography purposes are not included, unless other wise stated. PLEASE look at ALL 12 PICTURES , BUT do not just use the pictures as a reference when judging the size and condition of an item - close-up photography makes things appear larger than they are - PLEASE also read the description which will also include the relevant measurements when judging the size and condition of an item and/or look at the photo taken on the 1 square ruler grid.
