Vintage 1928 James Weir Solid Sterling Silver Cushion Trench Style Gents Wrist Watch. A lovely solid silver trench style watch fully hallmarked James Weir, Glasgow, 1928. It is in good condition though not working and requires a service before it can be used. The balance wheel appears to be ok. The solid silver case has some faint marks and tarnishing in places, the crystal has discoloured and is a light yellowish colour, the white cera face has some hairline cracks in places.

The original leather strap has an alligator print on it, it has signs of wear but still has plenty of life left in it. The watch measures approx 31.20mm excluding the crown and its lugs fit a 16mm strap. Please view photos carefully as they form part of the description.
