Vintage Signed Native American Indian Zuni Sterling Silver Turquoise Watch Cuff

  

Artist signed: RLB - the well known married artist couple who work together, Robert and Bernice Leekya Robert Leekya is no longer working. Vintage Zuni Sterling Silver Cuff Watch Bracelet with 8 Center Bezel Set Turquoise Stones, sophisticated silversmith work on the sides of the cuff, and applied sterling feathers bordering the watch which are in a sunrise pattern. Age: Vintage Estate Jewelry, exact age unknown.

Measurements: approximately 5.75" inner circumference of the bracelet, plus the 1 3/8" open back gap. The width of the bracelet is approximately 1.5" at the center, and tapers to 1" width at the end borders.

The watch that is currently in this cuff measures 1+3/8 fitting between the top raised silver pieces. The beautiful turquoise cabochon stones graduate from approximately 3/4" x 1/2" down to 1/2" x 3/8" on each side of the watch. Of course, these stones are natural organic shapes and these measurements are approximate. Total Weight of the cuff bracelet: approximately 106.4 grams. Condition: This beautiful vintage sterling cuff bracelet is in fine vintage condition.

The wonderful turquoise stones, chosen by well trained eyes, have lots of sterling veins through them. The watch is not working and needs to be replaced (the second hand has even fallen off inside the watch), but shows how functional this beautiful cuff is. Notice that this bracelet may be worn on the wrist or pushed up on your lower arm - it just depends on the size of your wrist. This cuff could be worn by a man or a woman - with equal appeal.
